Dinosaurs!

We spent the past weekend at Dinosaur Valley State park camping in the travel trailer. We left early on Friday and actually made it to the park to set up camp in the daylight- a first for us! Saturday morning we went hiking in the Paluxy River bed and saw the dinosaur tracks there. After lunch it began to rain so we camped out in the trailer for a few hours. Charlotte and I took a nap while the others read, played games or listened to music. That evening we went to Hammonds BBQ, as is our tradition every time we are in Glen Rose. It was so delicious! Sunday morning we went to Dinosaur World to look at the over 100 life-sized Dino statues and dig for fossils. The rain on Sunday was very light and stopped just in time for us to pack up to head back to Dallas. Despite the yucky weather, the kids had a great time and can't wait to go camping again!
