Picking Out Our Pumpkins

Yesterday after Madeleine's piano lesson, we stopped at a gardening store to admire their spooky Halloween decorations and pick out some pumpkins.  Madeleine of course could not be limited to just one pumpkin - instead she had to get a whole family: there is a Daddy pumpkin, a Mommy pumpkin, three baby pumpkins and a dog pumpkin.  She is going to paint them all.  James only cared that his pumpkin was bigger than Madeleine's Daddy pumpkin.  And Charlotte just wanted to carry one around a repeat "it's heavy!" over and over again.  I picked out a pumpkin of my very own too - one that I am going to try to carve a scary face on.  I'll try to post some "after the pumpkin decorating" pictures as well.

And no, these will probably not make it into my pumpkin bread.  I'll have to buy some more pumpkins for that!
