Yesterday was Brannon and Madeleine's first Father/Daughter school dance. The theme was "Sock Hop" and of course Madeleine loved the idea of dressing up in a pink poodle skirt! Brannon wore a suit to be "fancy" as he calls it and make Madeleine feel special. When I asked him how it went, he described the event as "We danced a little, then she played with her friends. Then we danced a little, and she played with her friends. We stopped by the refreshment table for a bit, then she played with her friends...." I think you get the picture. She was completely worn out when they rolled in the door at 10pm, but she had a blast and can't wait for the Father/Daughter dance next year.
