When Madeleine was younger, her hair was always in her face and it grows so slowly that I didn't have the patience to get through the "growing my hair out" phase. So we went to SnipIts and gave her some bangs. Now Charlotte is going through the same hair phase and I'm trying desperately to hold out and not cut her bangs. To keep her hair out of her face, I've been trying to either put it in a ponytail or clip it back with a bow or barrette. Until just recently she has refused to let me touch her hair (I've chased her, pinned her down, and put something in her hair - just to have her pull it out immediately). But this week for some reason she has decided having a "bow" (as she calls it) is ok... At least for a while anyway. The one in this picture lasted maybe 30 minutes, but it's a start!
