Not Too Excited

School starts for Madeleine and James this coming Monday - Madeleine will be in 2nd grade and James will be starting kindergarten. Today was "Kindergarten Roundup" for the incoming class. The kids got to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and hopefully become more comfortable with their new school before their first big day. Despite knowing that his best friend will be in his class, James is less than enthusiastic when it comes to starting kindergarten. Today, he did not want to have his picture taken, go back with his teacher to the classroom or participate in the pep rally.  Y'all need to say some prayers for he and I that we make it through drop off on Monday morning without any casualties (me or him!). I think the expression on his face here about sums it up.
