A Morning of Pampering

Madeleine and James both wanted a break from camp and the weather isn't conducive to sailing anyway, so they stayed home today. I already had a hair appointment scheduled, so we turned the morning into "salon day." Madeleine got mani/pedi while I got a pedi. We went to a place in Snider Plaza that has chairs for kids and a dedicated screen for kids movies (so James wasn't bored). We then headed over to Avalon Salon for hair cuts. The salon had an opening so Madeleine got a haircut while I got my highlights done. I'm sure Charlotte will have a something to say about us having a salon day while she was at ballet camp, but I am hoping that a play date with her friend and a trip to Chick-fil-a for lunch will smooth things over.
