Celebrating Charlotte

Last Friday my mom hosted a party for Charlotte. Mom had originally purchased tickets to a musical for Charlotte's birthday, but the theater had to cancel the production so instead mom treated Charlotte, some of her friends and her cousins to a trip to a trampoline park followed by some swimming at St. Joeseph's. We then had dinner, cake and ice cream at the cottage. And apparently the girls played a little dress-up too. Everyone had a great time!!

November Happenings

So obviously I need to do a little catching up... here's what has been going on in the month of November.

James was St. James the Greater for his school's All Saints procession.

The girls and I ran in the CK5K race at school. Charlotte and I did the 1 mile run and Madeleine completed the 5k.

James and Madeine both played in soccer tournaments.  James also played in a flag football tournament.

Charlotte went on a Daddy/Daughter camp out with Brannon and actually got him to ride a horse.

And we hosted a risotto cook off at our house with some good friends. I did not win, but it was fun!!

From pumpkin decorating parties to trick or treating with family, we all had a good time.

Cars and Coffee

Brannon and James took their friend Larry from the bank to Cars and Coffee a few weekends ago. They boys had a good time looking at all the cars and then going with the group to lunch.

The kids had a great time at their class Halloween party.

Trip to the DMA

The kids had a half day of school last week so we made a trip to the Dallas Museum of Art.

State Fair of Texas

We had our annual family trip to the State Fair right after I returned from Kentucky. The kids loved looking at the livestock, going through the arts and crafts show, and watching the horse and basketball shows.
