Hiking in the Mountains

We are in Park City, UT for a long weekend and enjoyed a nice hike this morning. All three kids made the 2.4 mile trek without having to be carried! This is a huge milestone for our family - usually at least one kid ends up breaking down and needs assistance to finish the hike. Of course we collected lots of flowers, sticks, and rocks along the way that just HAD to be brought back to the house. We made it to the top of the mountain and back in about an hour and 40 minutes. 

My First Real Race

JeanMarie and I ran the Wounded Warrior 10k last weekend. I finished in 1:03 - JM really pushed me at the end. We beat her time from last year. Apparently that was more important than any pain I was feeling at the moment. Haha. 

We also ran into Katrina who was running the half marathon with her friend. Yay for race family reunions! 

End of School / Start of Summer

So here's what's been going on: 

Charlotte had a luau the last day of school. 

We took Hopper sailing. 

We hosted an 80's themed party at our house. 

Charlotte and I visited Madeleine at her field day. 

And we've been swimming with friends. 

And James attended a foam bday party for a friend. 

The whole family went to a bday party at adventure landing. I'm pretty sure Brannon was more into it than the kids though.
