Great Trip

Well, spring break is at its end... The kids are bathed and in bed, hopefully getting some good rest before school starts back up tomorrow. We had a great trip to the Lakehouse this past week. A little tip for you: don't fall asleep in the hammock without sunblock on. Just sayin'.

Active Imaginations

The kids are playing "restaurant" and making up soups and other dishes using water and various plants and other things they've found outside. I think it's a great idea as long as they don't try to make me taste anything. :-)

Graduated!

Madeleine graduated to a new level at swim lessons this week! She received three ribbons and got to ring the graduation bell.

I'm also excited to report that Charlotte has moved up from a mommy & me class to doing lessons without me in the water with her. Out of the three kids, I must admit she has been my most fearless and comfortable-in-the-water swimmer. Hopefully we will all be ready for some serious swimming when the UP pool opens this summer!

Spring Break - at the Lake

Arrived at the Lakehouse yesterday evening and spent today at Walmart and goofing off around the house, just me and the kids. They are way more goofy than I am though. Here's a pic to prove it.

Happy Anniversary J&T!

John and Tiffany's wedding anniversary was this Sunday so Brannon and I watched their three older kids overnight. The cousins had a great time playing together. We even made a trip to the grocery store. But the highlight of the play date was making Gak - kind of a cross between slime and play dough. I know it's exactly what J&T were wanting for their anniversary. 😜
